Foundation & early years

Insaver was founded in Lummen in 2012 with the mission to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. Initially the focus is on saving energy, but soon our services expand to the generation and later storage of energy. This expansion also eventually leads to a move to Zonhoven.
2012

Partnership with Luminus

In 2017, Luminus and Insaver are joining forces, driven by their shared commitment to sustainability. This collaboration transforms Insaver from a local player to a prominent presence across the Belgian market.
2017

Reinforcement and expansion

Building on our acquired knowledge and experience, Insaver is setting up its own B2B unit in 2018, with the first project being the AD Delhaize in Riemst. With a view to further innovation, Insaver builds its own knowledge centre. The team continues to grow, resulting in a second move to Houthalen in 2019.
2018

Integration of Aralt

With the integration of Aralt comes a greater focus on post-installation service. The team will be expanded with in-house technicians, with a focus on improving efficiency and processes. The first steps in charging infrastructure are being taken.
2021

Market leader in Belgium

Insaver is the largest rooftop PV installer in Belgium and remains fully committed to expansion and innovation, including ground installations, carports, batteries for B2B and energy management systems.
2023

Internationale Expansion

The completion of the first project in the Netherlands marks the start of an international expansion, followed by projects in Germany, France and Luxembourg. The focus shifts from energy-efficient buildings to supporting electrification with smart solutions. Insaver is nominated Trends Gazelles for the fourth time and opens new headquarters.
