After your order is received, we will first check all administrative details. Are all necessary documents and data available? You will receive a confirmation email once this phase is completed.
This is followed by a technical validation. We check whether there are any technical ambiguities, what materials are needed and whether there are any special aspects to consider. We prepare everything and send you an email as soon as your project is ready for installation.
Finally, our planning service contacts you to schedule the installation. You do not need to contact us for an installation date; we will take the initiative as soon as we are ready to proceed.
On the day of the installation, provide a parking space of around 15 metres for our vans. This might require requesting a parking ban from your local authorities.
If an aerial work platform is needed for the installation, it can be delivered up to two days before the scheduled date. After installation, the aerial work platform can remain in place for two days before it is picked up again.
During installation, we will have to turn off your electricity for one to two hours.
Make sure you have your Wi-Fi password on hand on the day of installation because our technicians will need it.
A few days after installation, you will receive an email from us with more information on how to follow up on the system online.

You will receive the password directly by email from FusionSolar.
Do you have a Solis converter?
You can monitor your system on the Solis Cloud platform (https://www.soliscloud.com/#/homepage):
Your login is usually the email address registered with us.
The password is usually 123456.
In addition to production and consumption, FusionSolar also lets you monitor your savings or output in euros.
To do this, you must first set the electricity prices in your account:
Log in on your computer or the app.
Select ‘Installation’ and then ‘Installation management’.
Click on the pencil under ‘Actions’.
In the new screen that opens, select ‘Set electricity prices’.
Here you can enter both a feed-in tariff and purchase price. When entering rates, use a comma instead of a full stop.
Under ‘Feed-in tariff’, enter the price for the energy you feed into the grid.
Under ‘Purchase price’, enter the price for the energy you buy from the grid.
These prices vary by supplier and can be found on your invoice. To enter a feed-in tariff, you need a feed-in contract.
Remember to click on ‘Apply’ after each addition or change. When you are done with the changes, click on ‘Save’.

After installing your solar panels, home battery and/or charging station, we will request an inspection from our partner ACEG.
ACEG will then send you an email with a suggested date. Be sure to check your spam folder!
Around two working days after the inspection, you will receive an email from us with the inspection report and other documents about your system.
The AREI inspection consists of three parts: an administrative part, visual inspection and the necessary tests and measurements. What can you expect?
Administrative part: Inspection of the single-wire diagram, set-up diagram and technical features of your system.
Visual inspection: Inspection of the protection against overcurrent and direct touch, as well as the connections to the metal support structure of the panels.
Tests and measurements: Inspection of the insulation and spreading resistance (earthing).
Please be aware: The inspector is required to measure the earthing, so the interrupter should always be easily accessible. The earthing may not have a resistance exceeding 30 ohms. It is your responsibility as a customer to ensure that the earthing is in order. If not, your system will be rejected and additional charges may apply.
If your system was declared non-compliant, we will contact you to make the necessary adjustments.
Is the earthing not compliant? This is part of your home installation and should always be in order. You can adapt this yourself or have it done by Insaver. If you choose another partner, we would like to receive confirmation once the earthing is in order, so that we can request a re-inspection of your system. Please note that the cost of the re-inspection will be charged to you in this situation.
Any other breaches will be remedied by our technicians. We will contact you by phone as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. Afterwards, we will apply for a re-inspection for you.

No, the grid operator will notify your energy supplier of the installation, so you do not have to do this yourself. However, we recommend that you sign a feed-in contract. This way, you will receive compensation for the electricity you generate but do not consume directly and therefore return back to the grid. Contact your energy supplier for more information on feed-in tariffs.

Depending on the location of your home and direction of your roof, your solar panels may get dirty over time. To have them cleaned, contact a specialist company in your area. We do not provide maintenance services.
When we come home in the evening and start cooking, washing and charging our electric car, we need a lot of energy from the grid in a short period of time, resulting in what is known as peak consumption. The monthly highest peak helps form the basis of your bill for that month.
Where possible, FlexiO will try to keep this peak as low as possible through smart charging or battery usage. But in some cases, it can be more economical to actually increase the peak slightly, such as by charging your electric car when electricity is cheapest.
This happens completely automatically without you having to do anything and leads to savings on your energy bill. But it is important to keep in mind that FlexiO cannot always guarantee that the monthly peak will remain minimal: for example, if you want to charge quickly while also cooking and washing, FlexiO will know that this is not possible without increasing the monthly peak and will adjust its strategy accordingly.

When you use FlexiO to control your battery and combine it with a dynamic contract, the system will use your battery based on energy prices. This means your battery may go through more charging cycles per year.
But FlexiO is only going to (dis)charge your battery when it also provides a financial benefit to you. Rather than focusing on battery life, the system focuses on the financial benefits of using the battery versus cost.
These costs are determined by comparing the so-called ‘degradation cost’ of the battery with the financial benefits of the extra charge cycles. If the benefits outweigh the costs, FlexiO will use the battery. If not, the battery remains unused to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
FlexiO uses smart algorithms that take into account your consumption pattern, weather forecasts and electricity prices. The system will always make the best choice based on the available data.
However, reality may differ from the predictions. On the other hand, FlexiO offers you 100% peace of mind. Once your profile is set up, everything is taken care of automatically without you having to adjust your daily routines or invest extra time.
With a fixed rate , you pay the same price for the entire term of your energy contract (usually one year). This price offers you security, which means you pay a higher risk premium.
With a variable rate , the price is not known at the time you sign the contract, but is fixed monthly or quarterly. In this case, you pay a moderate risk premium.
With a dynamic rate the price is fixed only one day in advance and can vary hourly. These rates typically have a lower risk premium.
Although the type of energy contract is always up to you, dynamic pricing is recommended to get the most out of FlexiO. This is because the system ensures that you inject or store power at the most advantageous times, leading to additional savings on top of your initial investment.
With a fixed or variable rate , you also benefit from differences between day and night rates, but these are often not significant enough to put your battery to work and save on your energy bill.
For more info on dynamic pricing, see here .
We do not offer an energy contract. But with a dynamic contract, you can always use Luminus, Bolt or other energy suppliers. Take VREG’s V-test for more info on the different options.
FlexiO gives you a choice between four different charging modes. You can choose to start charging immediately using the ‘Urgent’ mode at any time.
Peak avoidance: Your car is charged as quickly as possible without significantly increasing the current monthly peak.
Smart: Your car is charged as economically as possible. Charging takes place more quickly when energy prices are low and more slowly when they are high.
Eco: Your car is only charged if the cost is lower than the price you have set. There is no guarantee that the car will be charged.
Solar: Your car is charged only with excess solar energy that would otherwise go to the grid. There is no guarantee that the car will be charged.
You can change the charging mode by clicking on the EV icon on the platform.
Our smart control software is compatible with the following charging stations:
Alfen: S-Line, Pro-Line
Blitz
Easee: Easee Lite, Easee Charge, Easee Home
Etrel: Inch Home, Inch Lite
Phoenix Contact
Veton
