Technical questions

A few days after installation, you will receive an email from us with more information on how to follow up on the system online.

Do you have a Huawei converter?

You can monitor your system through the FusionSolar platform. You can do this on a laptop or by downloading the app onto your smartphone.

  • Your login is usually the email address registered with us.

  • You will receive the password directly by email from FusionSolar.

Do you have a Solis converter?

You can monitor your system on the Solis Cloud platform(https://www.soliscloud.com/#/homepage):

  • Your login is usually the email address registered with us.

  • The password is usually 123456.

In addition to production and consumption, FusionSolar also lets you monitor your savings or output in euros.

To do this, you must first set the electricity prices in your account:

  1. Log in on your computer or the app.

  2. Select ‘Installation’ and then ‘Installation management’.

  3. Click on the pencil under ‘Actions’.

  4. In the new screen that opens, select ‘Set electricity prices’.

    1. Here you can enter both a feed-in tariff and purchase price. When entering rates, use a comma instead of a full stop.

    2. Under ‘Feed-in tariff’, enter the price for the energy you feed into the grid.

    3. Under ‘Purchase price’, enter the price for the energy you buy from the grid.

These prices vary by supplier and can be found on your invoice. To enter a feed-in tariff, you need a feed-in contract.

Remember to click on ‘Apply’ after each addition or change. When you are done with the changes, click on ‘Save’.

The inspector probably forgot to switch on the system. How do you solve this?

Huawei converters

  1. First, check that the battery switch is on. It is located at the top right.
  2. Make sure the converter’s rotary switch is set to ‘ON’.
  3. Check that the PV circuit breaker is on.

Solis RHI converters

  1. Check that the battery is on. At the back of the battery, you will find two blue circuit breakers. Make sure they are on. You may need to loosen a screw to access the circuit breakers.
Is there an orange light on the front of the battery? If so, contact our technical department at technischedienst@insaver.be or +32 (0)11 81 20 88.
  2. Check that the rotary switch on the left side under the converter is set to ‘ON’. If the converter is off, your battery may be discharged by your consumption and you will also notice that the solar panels are not generating energy.
