Inspection & registration

After installing your solar panels, home battery and/or charging station, we will request an inspection from our partner ACEG.

ACEG will then send you an email with a suggested date. Be sure to check your spam folder!

The AREI inspection consists of three parts: an administrative part, visual inspection and the necessary tests and measurements. What can you expect?

• Administrative part: Inspection of the single-wire diagram, set-up diagram and technical features of your system.

• Visual inspection: Inspection of the protection against overcurrent and direct touch, as well as the connections to the metal support structure of the panels.

• Tests and measurements: Inspection of the insulation and spreading resistance (earthing).

Important: The inspector is required to measure the earthing, so the interrupter should always be easily accessible. The earthing may not have a resistance exceeding 30 ohms. It is your responsibility as a customer to ensure that the earthing is in order. If not, your system will be rejected and additional charges may apply.

If your system was declared non-compliant, we will contact you to make the necessary adjustments.

Is the earthing not compliant? This is part of your home installation and should always be in order. You can adapt this yourself or have it done by Insaver. If you choose another partner, we would like to receive confirmation once the earthing is in order, so that we can request a re-inspection of your system. Please note that the cost of the re-inspection will be charged to you in this situation.

Any other breaches will be remedied by our technicians. We will contact you by phone as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. Afterwards, we will apply for a re-inspection for you.

You will receive your inspection report and electrical wiring diagram (if applicable) once we have received your payment for your installation.
